Urban Bohemia to take on Social Change issues with 2017-18 Film Slate

UB's new slate, curated by Berly Ellis, takes on world-changing issues, while utilizing the power of film to champion causes and those who are risking everything to make the world a better place.

On the slate for 17-18:

• A Docuseries and Feature centered on ways of ending modern slavery, for both animals and humans alike.
• An Historical Feature exposing an untold story from America's eugenics movement
• An Historical Epic recounting the heroism of Hereward the Wake and highlighting the vulgarity of conquest at all costs.

In addition to these social change projects, the slate also features a trilogy of family-friendly, action adventure sci-fi films, written by AJ Wedding.
